The original EccoPro 4.01 is 32-bit program. Only the Installer has a 
16-bit header. Check on your XP Pro operating system first (click on 
Start -> right-click computer -> Properties) if your OS is the 32-bit 
version or the 64-bit version of XP Pro.

Microsoft will discontinue security and other updates this Spring. In 
any case, I would recommend to upgrade your operating system to Windows 
7 or Windows 8. If you would like to hold on to your settings and all 
installed programs without re-installation, a time-consuming hassle, and 
the need for new license keys, I would recommend using a commercial 
migration program like "Zinstall WinWin" 
(*http://www.zinstall.com/technology/how-zinstall-winwin-works*). We 
tested it, it is worth it.
