I would upgrade the extension to v4.6.7.5 by simply replacing your existing file (eccoext.exe) with the file at the link that I posted here.

Then I would do the *backup* and file recovery as I described earlier and see if that causes the .alm file to regenerate correctly.

If it works, you're done.  If it doesn't work, you may be able to determine where the problem lies is by the results.

You need to rule out several things as the cause such as file corruption or exceeding Ecco memory limits.  This is one step towards doing that.
