Tho I have not tried and it may have some manual interventions; it may be possible....
 

 Export .eco file to Excel (or its equivalent), arrange in Excel as needed including adding numbering column(s), insert numbers (Excel will easily insert a sequential vertical string); export or paste from Excel to word/writer.
 

 Do a small trial file first to test and perfect the process.
 

 Not sure your use in writer; but if a .pdf file format works in writer, simply export from Ecco to pdf printer for .pdf file.  You can search but probably not edit the .pdf file ....except to copy/paste from it to writer.
