I would try to use a synchronized copy from another computer to create a new synch copy, maybe it will work. Usually, all synch copies are the same and it does not matter which one to use for creating new copies, but in this case maybe the error has not been copied from one synch copy to another. (I don’t know what to do with the data inconsistency error, never saw it before.) "File Data Inconsistent" My problem started with a "unable to complete command low memory condition detected". In the process of trying to correct the issue, one step I performed was a "recover". This step disconnected my file from the master file, rendering our simple two computer Ecco network unusable. I have archived my file, bringing the eccoMAGIC MEMORY REPORT from over 19,000 items to 6,700 items. TO THE POINT: I am trying to do a "create synchronized copy". In this process, I come up with a "File Data Inconsistent" - this despite running the "Test" and the report coming back with no problem found. I HAVE just for the nuts of it, tried a brand new file, with nothing in it, and was able to complete the "create synchronized copy" procedure. We've been using Ecco since it' beginning and will GREATLY appreciate your help!
