MPE does not pay attention to date range

 I am using MPE to sync my ecco calendar and my android phone. Nice App, great to see that Ecco is alive in the internetworld of 2015! Thanks for taking the lead Friedhelm.
 

 Issue: when I am synching calendar events, MPE allows to set a range "X days before today, y days after today" in settings. BUt when I sync, I goes way past the x and y day range I have given. Does anybody else see that? Is there a fix or a workaround? I am using MPE 1.8.6. on the computer and 1.0.34 on the phone.
