I can only speak explicitly for win7 as I don't use win10...but with win10 compatible with win7 programs, It is worth a try as no harm likely to occur. No need for any registry entry D:\ or any readily available location is OK Shortcut must point to the .exe to start it to run in the folder location where the files have been copied to. No need or desire to use a system folder location....better to create your own, and can be most anywhere and named anything as long as the shortcut can find it. Doug.S
