strange behavior of alarms

I'm running EccoExt on a Windows 7 computer. Something strange occurred that I have not seen before. This occurred after having to End Task to close Ecco after it froze. 
 

 What occurs now is that the first part of the alarm that pops up is missing the first part of the alarm message. Any idea what is causing this and how I can restore the information?
