Ecco is unable to receive email but with MS Outlook or Thunderbird
with your mail system client "Eudora Pro 3.0.1 (Simple MAPI) under
"Tools" -> "Options" installed as the default or only email
handler Ecco is able to send email to your phonebook entries who
have email address entries in the E-Mail field. If you use our
installer and right-click a phonebook entry with email address you
will get the "Send E-Mail" option or if you highlight several
phonebook entries you even have the option to send mass email
messages with the right-click option "Send E-Mails to ..."



If your recipients have alternate email addresses (office or home)
you can create a folder/column "Alt E-Mail" with a Launchable Tool
"Send E-Mail Alt Address". Go to "Tools" -> "Launch" ->
"Manage Launch Menu" with a Command:
mailto:"<launch-string>", Launch as: "Document", Tool
Available Based on folder "Alt E-Mail" with your choice where to
Show The Tool On Which Menus. Don't forget to choose an icon for
your Toolbar.

Hello 

I have used Ecco for a while but have never figured
out how to use it with today's email services like Gmail
or outlook mail. I dont have an email handler but am
prepared to installed MS outlook from MS office if I
knew how to have EccoPro work with Outlook; Can someone
briefly tell me how to do it, or point me to a link that
discusses this (as it likely is not a new question).
