Re: Ecco Pro and InfoQube. A follow up

built-in mail system clients for their own Chameleon 5.0, Z-Mail
Pro which was available on the EccoPro main menu and other third
party mail clients. Most of those clients were written with 16-bit
coding and will not work or interface with today's advanced email
software or servers like Microsoft Exchange. The only client which
will still work as tested is Mozilla's Thunderbird if you choose
"Eudora Pro 3.0.1 (Simple MAPI)".



The Tools -> Launch menu will give you the options "Send
eMail", "Send E-Mail" and "send "E-Mails To" to send email batches
to highlighted contacts in your PhoneBook. (right-click PhoneBook
entry)



If you run EccoProX or the Ecco Extension you might check the
"eccoprox.eco" Ecco Extension "changelog" under Feature:



Highlight and launch URL string:

EE will highlight URL string automatically

The supported URL format include:

http://...

https://...

ftp:// ...

mailto:

c:\windows\win.ini

www.google.com

There are a couple of ways:


1- Drag-drop an item to the new parent
while holding the Ctrl key (a "+" is
displayed to indicate that you're not moving
the item, but rather adding a new parent.


2- You can mark items (Item > mark
item) and then go to the "to be parent" item
and do Item > Add marked item as
children.






There may be others, but those are the
two that comes to mind






The Properties pane has a Parents section
which helps managing parents (Set as main
parent, Delete Parent, Delete all other
Parents).


FYI, the main parent is the one shown as
context parent if the display is set to
display context parents (and up to which
level they are displayed)
