Problem solved. EccoProX is back to where it was supposed to be and all
is well again:-).
I already came to the solution - suggested below by Frank - last night -
adding eccopro to the trusted files in McAfee. I had done something
similar when i had BitDefender last year. The only issue I had was "how
to". Had to do a bit of digging around till I found the place where to
add the "trusted files". Not very intuitive:-(
Frank (below) has outlined very nicely for those who have McAfee the
procedure to add the .exe file to the "trusted files". Please do this if
you have not already done it, or you will be in for a rude shock, as I
was, when the file suddenly and literally disappeared as i opened the
Eccopro folder.
