I believe eccopro is portable. Should not require an installation. It runs
fine on my winXP as well as on win10.

An alternative program is "infoqube"; It is similar to ecco, built on same
principles, but requires a small fee of $50 or so.

It is still in beta. It has many many improved features, but otherwise very
similar to ecco (without the limitations of memory etc) A nice feature it
that it has html that can be use for each item. You can import information
from eccopro into infoqube.
