Kerry, Thanks so much for continuing to work with me on this. Glad you received better results than I have. Did everything you recommended, see attached, and still no closer to a solution, other than having eliminated some possible causes. In my view this would appear to be related to an expired license key issue, because I am having the same issue trying to open former ECCO files. Kicking myself for not having a backup of a more recent version of my primary file that the problem was discovered on it. Don't have one that was used with the Windows 10 version of ECCO Pro. If I had that backup copy and it too didn't work, I would absolutely sure this is ECCO application issue and not a corrupt data file. I just did a test with a 1996 ECCO file. Interestingly it presented a window when asking me if I wanted to re-establish the alarms. Couldn't do anything with it though. The second attachment shows that screen shot. Yahoo mail apparently does not allow us to remove attachments before releasing email. Great technology! To possibly eliminate the expired license key issue, in the attached file I have included the key license keys Creative Services provided to me in Nov 2016. Are they different than the ones provided to you? When did you last renew your subscription? It occurs to me that the ECCO Pro developer may have had it in for me a bit, because in 2015 I cancelled my subscription because I saw no need for it. When my computer crashed and I had to reinstall, I couldn't do this without new license keys. Developer finally relented and passed me these license keys after I paid him a year's back subscription plus current. Thinking he may have given me key for 4.6.7.7 that had a time out and its continued use was contingent on developer providing me an updated key. That's a possible theory at least. Suppose I'm grasping at straws. Thanks again, Peter
