I have been using EccoPro EE since the early 1996 and have become very 
dependent on it as my Personal Information Manger" and add a daily log 
entry. I have not written any "scripts" as I _do not know how to_, but 
use the many features that the great masterSlang put in place ( use EE 
4.6.7.7) and take a bow to him every day - pure genius

I have been creating an annual Notepad and make daily entries of almost 
everything I do - telephone calls, notes, meetings, literature search, 
research notes etc etc. I have created many folders with sub-folders 
e.g  "Who" (with names of the various individuals I have had contact 
with) and many other folders with sub-folders based on the subject 
matter. As a toxicologist I have a folder labeled as "Drugs" which has 
many sub-folders with the individual drug/medication/poisonings etc . 
Each sub-folder has "Auto-assign rule". Entries made in the daily log 
get automatically added into their respective sub-folders with the 
"Auto-Assign" rules. EE is intelligent and sophisticated that it does 
these operations very smoothly. Of course "date of event" column helps 
keeps every entered item in their proper date order.

As house keeping I do Database "Compact" daily and Database "recovery" 
about every two weeks.

I have so much invested in EE that it would be catastrophic to loose it, 
so i have multiple backup - automatic and otherwise.
