Thanks, John. I'm downloading that Windows 95 emulator, very slowly, as I speak. A good, user-friendly, alternative to Wine would be most welcome. I'm wondering how well the final ECCO Pro will operate under the "new OS," considering that ECCO 4.01 actually was a bit newer than the original W95. Will I be able to install the new emulator OK in my Linux Mint 19.1 with the xfce desktop? I guess that the final test will be to connect this laptop to the printer and see if ECCO will be able to pass through its wobbly printer routines correctly to paper.
