Icons in Windows 7

Hi to all,

I would like to know if using a icl library for menu icons still
works in Windows 7 (x64).

I know there were problems with rebar icons when Vista came out
and that using a gif strip fixed that problem.
I read somewhere that all icons in Win7 has to be 256x256 ?

Someone reported that my app won't even launch (probably hangs
on "loadicon"?).

Any tips are much appreciated,
