 Thanks for the explanation. I'm already using FFDshow audiodecoder as part of the
 K-lite codec pack to ensure that most formats will be played. Only OGG had to be
 downloaded separately. Still, MP3's with an ID3 tag refuse to play. It's not an FFD error
 but an MCI-error. In MCI i'm using the device 'MPEGVIDEO' to play all audio formats.
 This is the device that handles all formats even including .MID or .MIDI and .FLAC
 I'm using FFDshow dated april 2012 so i'm not sure if that causes the problem.
 Perhaps I will update FFDShow one of these days to see if that helps.
 Right now I cannot check because I have no MP3's with ID3-tag anymore.
