What are you using for home servers?

I'm considering a HP Windows Home Server EX495:

Intel® Pentium® 2.5 GHZ 64-bit Dual Core and 2GB of RAM. I'm wondering
is this enough to as a music, video and backup server? I keep on seeing
iCore 7 desktops for similar prices (~$C 750) and while they don't have the
same number of drive bays.

What do you do? Is it doing the job?
