I don't know if you're ruled this out already, but I'm completely in love with my Dell Precision M4400. It's fast, has a great screen and with a dual core [1], 8GB of RAM and a high-end GPU, it rocks. It gets hot sometimes and the battery life ain't what I'd like, both otherwise, it's a great box for all my work and home chores.
