The problem isn't the lack of a CTRL key, it's the placement. Same for Gateway, Lenovo, Sony and Apple. There's a control key on my Mac, and when you run Windows in VMWare Fusion the apple key is the windows key. One problem with the control key is that control + left-click is the same as right-click, so you can't use control + left-click to make a selection which is a pain from time to time.
