Re: VS 2012

Though I really like the OS for tablets and phones, I totally get the Win8
hate on a desktop.  The start screen is useless, because it doesn't show a
clear picture of what I have going on.  Also, I think the interface
formerly known as Metro is worthless on a desktop.  The "immersive"
experience, to me, sucks.  I don't want an "immersive" application on a 24,
27 or 30 inch monitor.  Again, It shows no context of what else is
happening.  I *never* have just one thing going on on my desktop the way I
do on a phone or tablet.

To each his own, I guess.
