--94eb2c072772236f43053a81f275 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable The network machines connect to the server that the target program is running on. while the target program is running, a program on the network machine connects to the program on the server and sends it information, tries to get info about the program on the server (operational state, determine whether the program on the server still exists, etc...) Is there a way for the program on the server to know when one of the programs on the network machine is accessing it? I was thinking about building an internal firewall into the target program on the server, but wouldn't that simply block or allow a connection from across the network based on an IP address of the network machine? Would that really be able to flag when a connection to the target program was made?
