IMO, it's nearly impossible to justify the difference between $500 (US Professional Standalone price) and $5999 (US Enterprise + MSDN price). There are no features anywhere in Visual Studio that justify $5500. Also, be wary of the "cloud" license, because it's non-perpetual; that is, it's cheaper, because unlike the MSDN subscription, your right to use the software terminates the day your subscription ends. With the MSDN subscription, you have a perpetual license to use whatever was available during the term of your subscription (just make sure to download the ISOs and acquire the product keys before the subscription expires, because the license includes your right to run the software, not to download it :-p).
