Sorry, I've tested on two machines and cannot duplicate the errors.  What version of windows? 

 You can always substitute keys ^c possibly with wait for clip.copy as that is all it does internally.
 

 Make sure you are using version 35r unless you need unicode.
 

 If that does not help, you can fall back to version q -- install is in same yahoo folder.
