It seems that nothing changed.
Example from help
global e=event.create(2,10,"keys abc\r event.destroythis", \+
?=visiblewindow("*notepad*")=)
causes the same "Bad expression..." error.
If to merge lines:
global e=event.create(2,10,"keys abc\r event.destroythis", ?=visiblewindow("*notepad*")=)
then "abc\r event.destroythis" is sent to the active Notepad window many times. If another window is active, the text is tried to be sent there. So, destroythis seems to be never executed.

Try the event.dll I just uploaded to installation files folder.
There was a stability enhancement to 35s which caused a previously inactive bug in event.dll to be activated, breaking destroythis,
If you have issues please let me know what you did, what happened and what you expected to happen. Pls post the command that fails as well.
