Hi Bruce, as expected, I have run into some more problems upon re-installation of PowerPro. Here is what I have done so far:
-Removed PowerPro vis the add/remove programs in Windows 7
-Deleted any PowerPro folders, shortcuts, etc. that were leftover
-Downloaded the latest non-unicode release 5.3.35rl and installed it
-Chose a seperate folder for the pproconfig.pcf file
-After PowerPro shutdown, copied my old .pcf file and pasted (overwritten) it in this new seperate folder
Now, when I run Powerpro, it opens perfectly and everything is the same as it was.
The problem is, as soon as I open PPro, and then left click anywhere on my desktop, an error message pops up:
-snip-
Cannot access script file
mousebutton
Error occurred near line 1 of script HookMouseButton:
.mousebutton@check(arg(1), arg(2))
Called from line 1 of script HookMouseButton
Called from line 1 of script HookMouseButton
Called from line 1 of script HookMouseButton
Called from line 1 of script HookMouseButton
Called from line 1 of script HookMouseButton
Called from line 1 of script Hoo ...
-snip-
I then have to close all these pop up messages to return to normal but as soon as I left-click anywhere again, the same thing happens. I recall years ago altering PowerPro with scripting, but fast-forward to today and I have no idea what I did back then.
Second problem: recently, I went into 'Appearance' in Windows7, and changed the 'window borders' so they are thicker, maybe by about 15 pixels or so (approximate). This is so it is easier to grab the window edges and resize the active windows. As a result, the 3 buttons in the bottom-right-hand-corner of the 'Configure Powerpro' window are hidden - I can see just the top of them, but I cannot click on them because they are now hidden. I can't even remember what buttons those are, but I have a feeling I need access to them. Is this a result of enlarging the window borders vis the 'Appearance' settings in Windows?
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Unfortunately as of right now, I need to close PowerPro and I can't use it until I figure out the first problem.
