I have seen the mention today in a couple of my other groups of groups.io which has a basic, free option. It might or might not be a viable alternative (?) Its main page: https://groups.io/ - "A modern platform for online communities. Powerful management tools. Mobile ready. Free and paid plans. No ads, no tracking." - Free option includes 1G of storage I'm hoping it will turn out that the free, basic plan is enough for the still active Yahoo groups. But here is a page with the fee structure, which offers an additional 2 paid options: https://groups.io/static/pricing But one huge potential plus is the mention that's it's (allegedly) easy to migrate Yahoo or Google Groups over to it, and they include a button, each, with specific instructions for either platform: https://groups.io/static/transfer Not ever having started a Yahoo group myself I don't know what all is involved or if it would be a "right fit" type of solution, but maybe the information is of help.
