Well, I am pretty much the only developer working on WinShellEx, thus the snails pace progress. We released a GeoShell version using WinShellEx but found a few issues with it that needed some extra coding and moving around of the insides, which I am currently busy with. Hopefully I should have some docs and an api ready soon. I am expecting some free time this weekend. As for the development of WinShellEx, it is completely in C++, however shells using it wouldn't need to be. I am planning an api to sort that out, and perhaps looking into providing a COM class that automation languages can use as their tray service. The latter will take a while tho. Personally, while I enjoy alternative shells, I know that geo, the original author of GeoShell, said that for him, explorer has gotten to the point where it does everything he needs and wants. Not sure how many other people feel that way. Steve (illumination) __________________________________________________ Subscription options and archive: http://www.freelists.org/list/shell-coding
