If you don't like it, > you are out money. one important point about converting is that most people always see windows everywhere, at their friends' homes, at work, whereever you look. everybody has windows, everybody knows windows (how to handle it), but neither can be said of linux - it remains the same kind of mysterious thing for the normal users with normal (read: non-computer-fixed, err... read: not so addicted to ... damn, it isn't getting any better... you know what i mean :D ) friends. somebody going ahead trying linux takes the risk of getting no help when trouble appears, while many people basically know how to fix a number of windows problems. it's like the chicken-and-egg problem, neither can exist without the other. no linux users around you -> no help for your linux -> no linux for you -> no additional linux user -> and so on.
