I haven't had any issues, but all my refresh rates are set to 500 or 1000. 10
times a second is way too fast for me to follow anyway. ;)
I have two meter elements using xstatsclass, and 5 using perfmon. My CPU use is
0-2% when things are idle.
If you're using perfmon for the netin/out then the scale needs to be set to
something pretty darn big, e.g., 100 Mbps ought to scale to ~1250000 Bytes/sec.
What source string are you using? I use one like this (depends on your
adaptername, of course):
"\Network Interface(Intel[R] PRO_1000 MT Network Connection - Packet Scheduler
Miniport)\Bytes Received/sec"
