I now have a folder for such things (quotes, weather scripts and icons/images,
vbscripts, HTA's, etc.), that I call "plugins". It can be placed in either my
personal folder or copied from one theme folder to another. I'm not sure what
the OTS3 proposal is for such things, although I could undoubtedly find out if I
went and read the appropriate threads. I agree that it'd be nice to have such a
thing "supported", although I wonder how to handle situations where two
different themes might want to install different files with the same name in the
same place. It makes my head hurt to think about such things right now, so I'm
just not going to do it.

That should be "I don't know know if I want to wait another 30 days to map out
moon phases, Brian." Just so nobody wonders WTF you're doing. ;)
