I don't know. I've been watching this list ebb & flow for years. Traffic =

comes and goes but doesn't completely die out. I stay subscribed=20
because, even though I haven't had time to run LS in years, I've still=20
got my LiteSpotting=E2=84=A2 mug on my shelf at work.<g> And I still like=
 to see=20
what the old girl is up to. Regardless of if I have time to run it myself=
=2E

And I still do fool with my desktop to a minor degree. But the=20
accumulation of *jobs*, *family* and life in general has made the=20
hurdles of running replacement shells and hand-building your own desktop =

from scratch, seem like a little more work than I have time for most=20
days. :D

As to Vista\Win7: I fully intend to get our home servers and pcs all=20
migrated to Ubuntu, before I ever buy another M$ OS for any of our=20
machines.

Ok - I'll admit my wife's new laptop (Dell refurb) *had* to be bought=20
with a copy of vista home (which she hates with a passion) - But it just =

rubs me completely wrong that BillCo. want me to, "buy a new OS every=20
year" to contribute to their bottom line. The only real reason most of=20
the house is still on xp is that M$ has kept extending xp's lifespan,=20
when they found that they couldn't _give_ businesses Vista. :D

xp drivers for their current offerings? *ack!*

It's just a matter of time, and I'll have gone full-circle back to=20
running the stuff I was playing with in 1996! :D
