WTL80 on Visual Studio 2008 and Vista 64

I've installed Visual Studio 2008 and a vista x64 machine and WTL80.
And after replacing the appwizmobile and appwiz folders in the standard distribution with the folders found in the files directory of this group, I found that only the Windows version works and not the windows mobile one. I changed the registry path line from:
var DestBase = shell.RegRead("HKLM\\Software\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\9.0\\Setup\\VC\\ProductDir") + "vcprojects";
to 
var DestBase = shell.RegRead("HKLM\\Software\\Wow6432Node\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\9.0\\Setup\\VC\\ProductDir") + "vcprojects";

and the new files were copied. But every time I try to create a new project (while running vs2008 in admin mode) it fails, giving me the message "project creation failed" in the status bar of vc! Any suggestions?
