Considering everything in Xsession is considered part of the session so whenever something crashes the session crashes, I would guess it is a problem of 1 of the scripts it sources or the script itself. Lightdm keeps session logs in /var/log/lightdm/x-*.log so you should get some info on what goes wrong. Some years ago I had an obscure issue with environment variables. It turned out that lightdm was directly or indirectly causing one of the dot files to be called in a way that I did not expected. I decided to stop using display managers altogether and, like in fairy tales, I have been happy ever since! :-) It was dead easy to get rid of the display manager, I just followed the instructions in the Arch wiki. _______________________________________________ Xfce mailing list [email protected] https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce http://www.xfce.org
