How to get different/larger I-Beam cursor?

I find that I often lose the cursor when it's an I-Beam cursor.  As I
almoat exclusively use terminal windows sometimes I often have a whole
screen where there's only going to be an I-Beam cursor so not being
able to see/find it is a nuisance.

So, how can I change just the I-Beam cursor (i.e.  the mounse cursor
in a terminal window) to something more conspicuous?
