I have seen complaints of problems with the latest set of drivers. 
Moving to an older version fixed the problem.  I have not seen it on
mine, so it may be card specific.

The nVIDIA support groups have been pretty good about responding. You
have to deal with their bizzare web posting message board, but you get
fairly timely responses.

Might fix a few other problems though.  (Those sort of cleanups tend to
find other problems.)
