Actually the founder of all the BSD x86 distributions
was a guy named Bill Jolitz.  He did the x86 port.
Nobody probably remembers him.  We all jumped on 
his bandwagon.  Then there was the 'patch kit'
to Jolitz' distribution, then came FreeBSD.
