As an example, I take FontConfig, RENDER, Xft, FreeType in the basement, etc.
I also hope Xr/Xc/Xsvg would be adopted among those toolkits n the future.

I also think that I haven't mentioned idea of joining Qt and GTK.
Some developers have to grow up first before this happens.
