TV Out ideas?

I just acquired a Dell Lattitude CPi. It has an SVideo and Composite out 
adapter.

I have been able to get xvideo working and am having OK luck with many 
of the other functions but I would *really* like to get the composite 
video output working. The last message I found on this function was back 
in April of this year. I'm hoping things have changed since then.

Where would I go to find out about any of this and if possible volunteer 
to QA any developing drivers?
