Error Messages

When attempting to startx as user "wallick" I am receiving the following message; xauth: /home/wallick/.Xauthority not writable, changes will be ignored xauth: error in locking authority file /home/wallick/.Xauthority xauth: error in locking authority file /home/wallick/.Xauthority xauth: error in locking authority file /home/wallick/.Xauthority Fatal server error: Cannot open log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log" giving up. xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error. xauth: error in locking authority file /home/wallick/.Xauthority I am running FreeBSD. I am able to run X as root just fine with Gnome and Sawfish. Whenever I attempt to run X as a user I receive the messages above.
