Thank you Lionel, One learns every day, Yes of course one can soft link any one file name to the XF86Config or initxrc. So from now on I accept -4 .old or what ever. But wouldn't it have been easier if we kept to a standard name ? Not your problem though. Thanks for the RH information. A Happy New Year.
