Problems with Xft2 and KDE3.0.1

I have compiled KDE 3.0.1 with Keith's patch for qt-copy but I have the
following two problems:

1)My Greek fonts are not working any more.The characters are little
squares...

2)Sometimes in the menus of KDE lines disappear and after a while, as I move the mouse
pointer to different selections, they come back.
