Drawing appclication windows contents

Hi ...

I am trying to port the TinyX Server to our architecture,
and i am wondering which function will draw the content of a window 
(xterm). I have calls to PaintWindow which draw the border and fill 
the window with white pixels (BackgroundPixel). But after that nothing 
noticeable is happening. Did i forget to supply a function? If yes, 
which one?
