I see, I compiled it from fresh out of ports, so I think it will be a
while until it catches up with it too. Here the version:

-----------------------------Snip-------------------------------------
# New ports collection makefile for: WindowMaker
# Date created:         August 13, 1997
# Whom:                 [email protected]
#
# $FreeBSD: ports/x11-wm/windowmaker/Makefile,v 1.124 2004/10/26
# 08:49:49 dougb
Exp $
#

PORTNAME=       windowmaker
PORTVERSION=    0.91.0
-----------------------------Snip-------------------------------------

some of the ports haven't been updated and so it could take a while.

No worries with the stability, it is that applications crash when
called up.

That could be a good reason too as I used all my old configs from the
32bit version. I will try it witout the configs.

yes, with 32bit no problems.

I think I wait until the maintainer updates it and then use it again
once I hear it is ready for AMD64 ports. In the meantime Ihave
fluxbox and it works nice too.

Thanks for the help.
