Google Search's encoding is UTF-8. A binary file (such as the wget binary) is ought to have valid utf-8 codes for characters which do not exist on your current font, so X (Opera, or whoever) tries to find it in any of your fonts and, if that fails, quits trying to render it Opera 8 + WindowMaker here, it doesn't crash, but you can notice disk activity while it loads. Wonder if Mozilla/X would crash when running that search under a different window manager... -Ricardo _______________________________________________ INFO: https://windowmaker.org/lists/listinfo/wm-user ARCHIVE: https://windowmaker.org/lists/archive/wm-user/ FAQ: http://windowmaker.org/faq.html
