Google Search's encoding is UTF-8. A binary file (such as the wget binary)  
is ought to have valid utf-8 codes for characters which do not exist on  
your current font, so X (Opera, or whoever) tries to find it in any of  
your fonts and, if that fails, quits trying to render it

Opera 8 + WindowMaker here, it doesn't crash, but you can notice disk  
activity while it loads.

Wonder if Mozilla/X would crash when running that search under a different  
window manager...
