(1) Uncheck "Disable Miniwindows" in WPrefs.app located on the last page (the icon with the graduation hat). (2) Put "kdeinit &" in ~/GNUstep/Library/WindowMaker/autostart (3) If you want to use kicker, you can put "kicker &" in the same file.
