windows maximized out of the screen

hi, I just installed wm 0.91.0 from debian stable yesterday and started 
using it.
everything runs perfectly but I'm having a lot of trouble because some 
windows pop up the first time with amazing sizes in amazing positions.

specially there's one window which opens normally in fluxbox but opens
with an "infinite height" in wm:

apt-get install ardour
apt-get install tap-plugins

add the plugin "TAP Dynamics" to one track, click over it and "edit"
very weird

any idea of how to fix it?

BTW I decided to write it here as there's no bug tracker... Why the web 
site is so out-dated?
