problem with app icons in Qt applications

Hi,
when I open a Qt (or KDE) app, it gets the default app icon. However, when I 
open another Qt app, it gets /the same/ icon that the first one got. And if I 
kill the app using the right click menu, both of them die. 

Another issue that I think is related is that when an app (in this case, Kile) 
creates a sub-window (the search and replace dialog) and the sub-window gets 
an app icon. I'm using wmaker 0.81.0 (the one shipped with SuSE 9.0). 
However, I know this happens too under wmaker 0.91

I could get rid of the first issue enabling "emulateAppIcon" in  the 
WMWindowAttributes file, but not of the second.
