WindowMaker configure errors

Hi,

I've tried to compile WindowMaker-0.92.0 on Solaris10/Sparc but reaching 
libXft check configure stops giving me the "libXft version to old" error.
I've successfully installed libXft-2.1.7 before configuring WindowMaker.
Is there a way to give configure the right path to the new libXft since 
there is an older version of libXft on the system which is used by 
Solaris/Openwin?
