last time I looked, wmcliphist didn't allow for actions (e.g. on URLs).
So it's not a full replacement. From time to time I've searched for  
something less bloated (takes over a second to launch on my box because  
nothing else from KDE is running) to replace klipper but haven't found  
anything close enough in functionality.
