Hi Everyone, I'm trying to get WindowMaker working on top of Gnome on my Ubuntu 5.10 systems. I ran the gnome.wmaker.inst script and had it bomb out because GLOBALDEFDIR (/etc/WindowMaker) is not present on the Ubuntu WindowMaker installation (0.92.0-5). The error says "Could not find global configurations files. Make sure you have installed WindowMaker correctly." Could this be fixed by simply creating a directory at /etc/WindowMaker? Do I need to modify the script to look for the global configurations somewhere else? Any help would be appreciated. My goal is to modify the script so that it works out of the box for Ubuntu, and then post it to the Ubuntu forums so that other people can use it. Thanks, Bill Lamb _______________________________________________ INFO: https://windowmaker.org/lists/listinfo/wm-user ARCHIVE: https://windowmaker.org/lists/archive/wm-user/ FAQ: http://windowmaker.org/faq.html
